  • Feature owner and designer of all optional game content including open world puzzle rooms, combat encounters, skate activities, narrative vignettes, and side content set pieces.

  • Designed and implemented new gameplay mechanics including interactive objects, puzzle mechanics, and environmental hazards using blueprint visual scripting.
     

  • Designed and implemented systems underpinning different archetypes of content like skate races or puzzle rooms to standardize implementation in multiple contexts.
     

  • Designed metrics and modeled blockout assets for a modular interior environment kit used to build puzzle rooms and as incidental architecture and set dressing through the game.

  • Designing and implementing abilities and interactive objects for player character including movements, equipment, weapons, and puzzle components using Blueprint scripting.
     

  • Designing comprehensive metrics for world building modular asset kits and composition of level content while coordinating with environment art team on asset production.

  • Acting as Strike Team owner for cross-discipline team implementing a pair of content types while evaluating scope, defining tasks, reviewing work, and coordinating with leads.
     

  • Mentoring junior level designer with regular feedback, peer review, and game design thought exercises while also managing their task assignments and deliverable reviews.

  • Designed and implemented level content including 50+ open world points of interest, 5+ competitive combat arenas, and 10+ cooperative roleplaying dungeons utilizing Unreal Engine 4 and Blueprint scripting.
     

  • Designed and implemented game features including 5+ weapons, 10+ weapon modifications, character camera states, and controller user experience utilizing Unreal Engine 4 and Blueprint scripting.
     

  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams while owning design features from conception to implementation across projects inclusive of a cooperative shooter, competitive shooter, and survival sandbox.
     

  • Assisted environment art team with level set dressing and lighting while ensuring the integrity of game feel and level design was maintained from blockout to shippable.
