Overview

Lanterns' Watch is a community-developed isometric horde survival game. I contributed to the project as the Lead Designer during the prototype and pre-production phases of development. I disbanded the project after joining the games industry professionally.

Highlights:

  • Director of the project responsible for defining the creative vision of the game including design, art, and audio while coordinating a diverse team of 15 volunteer artists, programmers, and designers.
     

  • Created 7 nonlinear levels inclusive of blockout, set dressing, and lighting using Unreal Engine 4 terrain sculpting, foliage painting, and lighting tools.

  • Created 4 modular environment asset kits inclusive of models and materials spanning desert, temperate, artic, and tropical environments using Blender and Unreal Engine.
